Operation at outlet stores seizes more than R$ 1 million in counterfeit goods, such as shoes

A recent operation by the Federal Revenue Service resulted in the seizure of more than R$ 1 million in counterfeit goods. According to the agency, among the seized items were 456 shipments of merchandise—including shoes, clothing, and accessories—that were being sold at outlet stores in four neighborhoods of Salvador, Bahia.
The establishments that were fined are located in the neighborhoods of Cajazeiras, Caminho da Areia, Cabula, and Rio Vermelho. The stores had been identified through investigations.
The operation was conducted by the Regional Superintendence of the Brazilian Federal Revenue Service—5th Tax Region (Bahia and Sergipe).
