Federal Revenue seizes R$ 8 million in counterfeit products in a warehouse in São Paulo
The operation started on Monday in a clandestine warehouse of goods located on Rua Venâncio Aires, in Pompeia.
An operation of the Federal Revenue seized this Monday (20) about R$ 8 million in counterfeit products in a shed in Pompeia, in the West Zone of São Paulo.
The action, of the Division of Surveillance and Suppression of Smuggling initiated action in a clandestine warehouse of goods located on Rua Venâncio Aires, according to them. In all, 80,000 pieces of clothing, 10,000 pairs of sneakers and 5,000 bags were seized.
The operation called “Apate”, which was one of the spirits out of Pandora’s box and which represented deception, deceit and fraud, focuses on counterfeit goods of foreign origin. In addition to the loss of seized goods, those responsible must be represented by the crime of smuggling.
