Cargo of sneakers with signs of counterfeiting evaluated at BRL 45,000 is seized on BR-040 – São Gonçalo RJ
Agents of the Program Operation Focus Foreign Exchange and the Trerasury Office of Rio de Janeiro have seized nearly a thousand pairs of sneakers with signs of counterfeiting. The seizure took place this Saturday (11) morning at the tax station of Comendador Levy Gasparian, on BR-040.
The material was in a cargo truck coming from Nova Serrana, Minas Gerais. The driver said that the goods would be delivered to the capital of Rio de Janeiro.
The pairs of sneakers are evaluated at approximately BRL 45,000.
The incident was registered at the Três Rios police station and the driver was released after providing information.
