Working with the Legislature

Prioritizing the approval of Project 333/99, which increases the penalties for crimes against brand counterfeiting and unfair competition, BPG has participated in meetings, seminars and events held in the National Congress, with the aim of raising awareness among federal deputies and the president of Chamber of Deputies for the approval of PL 333/99.

BPG also works together with the Special Commission destined to analyze propositions referring to the fight against piracy, called Cepirata, for the improvement of bills on this matter that are being processed in the National Congress and also with the Parliamentary Front to Combat Piracy. It also participates in the Working Group within the scope of the National Council to Combat Piracy, to analyze the New Penal Code Project.
