In Vargem / SP, PRF seizes thousands of counterfeit goods

Footwear shipped in Nova Serrana / MG would go to São Paulo / SP.

The Federal Highway Police (PRF) seized a load of counterfeit shoes at dawn on Friday (12), in Vargem / SP.

During inspection at Km 7 of BR 381, in the municipality of Vargem / SP, a PRF team approached an IVECO / DAILY55C16 MAXIFUR vehicle, driven by a 42-year-old man. Inside the car, approximately three thousand pairs of footwear (sneakers, shoes and sandals) of internationally known brands were found, all with signs of counterfeiting and without documentation to prove the authenticity of the products.

The vehicle and driver were sent to the Civil Police Station in Bragança Paulista / SP for the appropriate measures. All merchandise was collected and sent to the Technical Examination and Official Identification.
