Counterfeit electronics cargo was seized during operation of PRF and Federal Revenue
Estimated value of the seized cargo is R $ 6 million.
A load of counterfeit electronics was seized last Wednesday (22), on the Presidente Dutra highway, in a joint operation by the Federal Highway Police and the Federal Revenue. It is estimated that the total value of the cargo is R$ 6 million.
According to the inspector of the Federal Highway Police, Waldiwilson dos Santos, truck drivers will not respond criminally. They are heard and are released, because they are the carriers. The trucks were also released.
The seizure took place around 3 pm on the last Wednesday, in the stretch of Aparecida. The trucks had left the port, in Rio de Janeiro, and were heading towards São Paulo, where the cargo would be dropped off. The products came by ship, from China.
