BPG participates in Webinar held by the International Trademark Association-INTA
BPG participated last November 5th on the Webinar “Best Practices on Customs Enforcements: Benefits of Trademark Registration at Customs.
The event addressed the advantages of implementing a Trademark Registration System by Customs and the need for uniform procedures. The Webinar had representatives from other countries, who are part of INTA, talking about the functionality of this system in their contries’ customs offices.
INTA is the largest international intellectual property association, which brings together 31,000 members worldwide, including branded companies, intellectual property professionals and government agencies. The association has several committees and working groups, including one that is working on mapping best practices in customs in Latin America and the Caribbean.
