Military Highway Patrol Seizes Shipment of Foreign Sunglasses Without Invoices in Nova Andradina
Goods valued at R$18,000 were being transported as a package on a bus

Early Thursday morning (the 16th), the Military Highway Patrol seized a shipment of foreign goods without tax documentation during a traffic inspection and operation to combat cross-border crime on Highway MS-134 in Nova Andradina.
The stop occurred at km 149 of the highway, when officers from the Nova Andradina Operational Base inspected a bus traveling through the region. In the luggage compartment, they found nine packages containing foreign-made eyeglasses, being transported as shipped parcels.
During the inspection, no one responsible for the cargo was found inside the vehicle. The goods were valued at approximately R$18,000 and will be forwarded to the Federal Revenue Service.
