BPG Workshop 2026 | Rio de Janeiro/RJ

On April 14, 2026, the Brand Protection Group – BPG held the BPG Workshop in Rio de Janeiro, with the theme “Combating Brand Counterfeiting and the Illegal Market.” The event brought together 90 participants, including representatives from member companies and public authorities dedicated to combating the illegal market in Brazil.

The workshop featured three important panel discussions and practical demonstrations on identifying counterfeit products, conducted by representatives of BPG members.

Among the public authorities in attendance were representatives from the Federal Revenue, Federal Police, Federal Highway Police, Civil Police, Institute of Criminalistics, Chamber of Deputies, Brazilian Patent and Trademark Office (BPTO), National Council for Combating Piracy and Crimes against Intellectual Property (CNCP), PROCON – Consumer Protection Program, and SEDCON – Rio de Janeiro State Secretariat for Consumer Protection. The event also featured the participation of 18 BPG member companies and the representative from AACS Alliance Against Counterfeit Spirits.
