Customs of Salvador Port seized 20 tons of counterfeit goods
At the end of may, the customs of Salvador Port carried out a seizure of about 20 tons of counterfeit goods. Among the seized products are shirts, watches, sneakers and shorts of various well-known brands like Nike, Ray Ban, Tommy Hilfiger, Mizuno.
After the report of expertise, the responsibility of the importer for the irregularity will be investigated .The Customs could make a representation to the Federal Public Ministry (MPF), suing the Importer for false declaration of importation, falsification and counterfeiting. After the process ends, the goods will sent for destruction .
