Customs seized a millionaire cargo of counterfeit goods from famous brands in Itajaí
Customs informed this Wednesday (9) that a container with 21 tons of counterfeit products coping international brands, was seized at the Itajai post, in Vale. The products will be sent for destruction.
Among the merchandise, there were sunglasses, watches, shirts, hats, and printing equipment from China. The estimated value of the cargo is more than R$ 3 million.
The team from Customs detected a false declaration of the goods when they were inspecting along with representatives from the Department of Agriculture. The importer had said that he had granite.
