Ten thousand pairs of footwear were seized this weekend in São Paulo
The Civil Police seized three trucks loaded with counterfeit sneakers and slippers in Brás, east of São Paulo; there were around 10,000 pairs of footwear imitating famous brands. The products would be distributed in stores in the city.
The operation originated from an anonymous report, and after a week of investigations was sparked, as explained by Wagner Carrasco, delegate of the Anti-Piracy Department of the State Department of Criminal Investigations.
After being seized, the shoes were referred to the expertise.
