IRS seizes R$ 650 thousand in products in the city of Natal-RN
The IRS seized around R$650 thousand in irregular products yesterday (11) morning. The operation aimed five stores located in the east zone of Natal. The main irregularities found were the lack of Inmetro seals in toys, evidences of counterfeiting, branded products with very low prices and evidences of illegal importation.
Items as glasses, caps, bags, apparel and toys totaled 226 boxes of goods. The operation counted with the participation of 25 IRS officers and 23 Policemen.
According to the IRS Chief, the owners of the goods will have from 24 hours to 20 days, depending on the situation, to prove the regularity of the products, in order to repossess them, otherwise they will be subjected to forfeiture of goods and sewed for crimes against the Intellectual Property.
