The Police seized 50 million of counterfeit products in downtown SP
The police closed on this Monday morning (17) two buildings that were packed with counterfeit products in downtown São Paulo, in front of the Mercado Municipal or City Market. Fifty million products that included CDS, DVDS and pen drives were seized. Twenty people were found inside the properties and were being interrogated at the moment of this news.
The place served as production and distribution centers for counterfeit products according to the Department of Public Prosecution and the Civil Police, in charge of the operation.The officers found about 40 equipment that were used to copy 10 CDs or DVDs simultaneously.
