Revenue finds cargo of piracy in the Port of Itajaí
The customs of the IRS of Itajaí registered yesterday the first seizure of pirated products of the year. Altogether, 15 tons of clothing, shoes and accessories were found in a container that arrived from China, in the beginning of 2013. The goods imitates trademarks as Tommy Hilfiger, Louis Vuitton, Lacoste, Ralph Lauren, Adidas and Nike, and is evaluated in 1,5 million. The company responsible for the products is from Itajaí and will respond to lawsuit for illegal importation. All the seized goods will be destructed.
