Puma, Alpargatas e Diageo are the newest BPG associates
Puma, Alpargatas and Diageo have just joined BPG.
For over 65 years Puma has specialized in Sports Brands and produces footwear, apparel and accessories. The PUMA Group owns the brands PUMA, Cobra Golf, Tretorn, Dobotex and Brandon. The company is headquartered in Herzogenaurach, Germany. The history of Alpargatas started in 1907, in a factory located in Mooca District, São Paulo. Nowadays, Alpargatas produces footwear, apparel and accessories. It owns the brands Havaianas, Dupé, Topper, Rainha, Sete Léguas and Meggashop, it´s also licensed of Mizuno and Timberland and owns shares at Osklen.
Diageo is in the premium drinks business with an outstanding collection of beverage alcohol brands across spirits, beer and wine. These brands include Johnnie Walker, Crown Royal, J&B, Windsor, Buchanan\\\’s and Bushmills whiskies, Smirnoff, Ciroc and Ketel One vodkas, Baileys, Captain Morgan, Tanqueray and Guinness.
The Brand Protection Group – BPG has broadened its representativeness with the association of these three important companies which join forces with the already associated Henkel, BIC, Nike, Swedish Match, Louis Vuitton, Philip Morris, Chanel, Motorola, Faber-Castell and Lacoste to combat counterfeiting and other crimes against the Intellectual Property.
