Products smuggled from Paraguay result in a BRL 500,000 seizure in Santa Catarina
An operation by the Federal Revenue Service seized more than BRL 500,000 in products smuggled from Paraguay. The operation was carried out in the early hours of Friday (1st) at the Chapecó bus station, in the west of Santa Catarina.
The operation was supported by the Federal Highway Police (PRF) and the Federal Revenue Service of Joaçaba, Dionísio Cerqueira, Chapecó, Blumenau and Florianópolis.
The buses were approached by the inspectors and at the time of the search they were found to be smuggled. The cargo included electronics, clothes and drinks.
