Police seize three tons of counterfeit clothes, shoes and accessories from stores in the South Zone

Three tons of counterfeit clothing, accessories and footwear were seized by the Pernambuco Civil Police in Recife during Operation “Fake Stores”.

According to the police, six people were charged in the act. The operation took place on Tuesday (11) and was announced by the police on Wednesday (12).

The objects were found in six commercial establishments in the Pina neighborhood, in the South Zone of the Pernambuco capital.

During the operation, 148 volumes of counterfeit products were seized, totaling three tons.

The raid was carried out by the Police Station for the Repression of Crimes Against Consumers, coordinated by police chief Hilton Lira.
