More than 7,000 pairs of counterfeit shoes destined for São Paulo are seized in Oliveira

The cargo left Nova Serrana and was destined for the Brás neighborhood in São Paulo. The 60-year-old driver was taken to the police station in Campo Belo to give explanations.

A shipment of 7,634 pairs of counterfeit sneakers was seized in Oliveira in the early hours of Tuesday (4). The shoes had left Nova Serrana for the Brás neighborhood in São Paulo.

According to the Military Police (PM), during the ‘safe pre-carnival’ operation, officers approached the 60-year-old driver, who was driving a truck in the center of Oliveira.

When questioned about the cargo he was carrying, the driver said it was counterfeit shoes, produced in Nova Serrana. The driver also said that the cargo did not have an invoice.
