A man was arrested on Monday (27) for selling counterfeit products in a clothing store in the neighborhood of Bonsucesso, in Rio’s North Zone. The operation was carried out by the Police Department for the Repression of Crimes Against Intangible Property (DRCPIM).

According to the Civil Police, several items were seized, including clothes, hats and shoes. According to the investigations, the fake products would cause significant damage to the brands involved and contribute to tax evasion in the state.

The man arrested was taken to a police station to give evidence, where he will answer for the crime against immaterial property.
