Four vehicles are seized with more than BRL 57 thousand in contraband and smuggling
Around 8:30 PM yesterday (13), a team from the Dourados Operational Base of the Military Highway Police seized four vehicles loaded with contraband and smuggled products.
According to police information, the action took place during an inspection on the MS-379 highway, when the following vehicles were stopped: VW/Gol, grey, Naviraí/MS licence plate, driven by a 60-year-old man; Chevrolet/Cobalt, Dracena/SP licence plate, driven by a 35-year-old man; Toyota/Corolla, Santa Mercedes/SP, and a Toyota/Corolla, Dracena/SP, driven by a 38-year-old woman.
In the vehicles were found goods such as cigarettes, electronics, clothing, perfumes, among others, all of foreign origin without documentation.
The objects were seized and sent to the Federal Revenue Office and the damage of the crime was estimated at BRL 57,500.00.
