Federal Revenue seizes R$ 5 million of goods on the border with Uruguai.
27 tons of clothing were seized.
The Federal Revenue Office of Santa Maria seized last Saturday (8th), a truck with about 27 tons of clothing.
The approach was taken in the municipality of Aceguá, on the border with Uruguay, by the Military Brigade (BM). During the operation there was confrontation and exchange of shots between the police and the criminals, who ended up eluding and abandoning the vehicle.
The truck was taken to the BM headquarters in the city of Bagé, where it was delivered to the section of the Surveillance and Repression Section of Smuggling (Sarep), which led it to the Warehouse of Goods and Vehicles Seized (DMVA) of the Federal Revenue in Santa Maria.
After the verification of loading, it was found about 27 tons of clothing valued at R $ 5 million.
