Federal Revenue Office seizes BRL 1.7 million in goods in one week of operation
Between March 6th and 10th of this year, the Brazilian Federal Revenue Office conducted an inspection operation in distribution centers for postal shipments and e-commerce logistics depots in Londrina-PR.
This operation had the participation of the Brazilian Federal Revenue Office’s employees from Foz do Iguaçu-PR, Londrina-PR and Itajaí-SC.
During the operation, about 2.6 thousand volumes of goods were retained in an irregular situation, without invoices or other documents proving the regularity of the importation of the goods, indicating a possible commercial destination. In total, the Federal Revenue Office retained BRL 1.7 million in goods.
All the products were sent to the headquarters of the Federal Revenue Office Customs in Foz do Iguaçu-PR. Those involved will be represented to the Federal Public Prosecutor’s Office to investigate the illicits.
