Federal Revenue of Foz do Iguacu participates of the XI National Campaign for Destruction of Goods
This week the Federal Revenue of Brazil promoted campaign for destruction of irregular products.
Throughout the country, over 4.5 thousand tons of products as glasses, watches, cigars, garment, footwear and cds are going to be destroyed, around R$ 21.5 million.
The Federal Revenue of Foz do Iguaçu held an exhibition showing the ecological and responsible destruction and destination of residues of several types of products as cds, beverage, lighters and cigars.
The event held in Foz do Iguaçu counted with the participation of the Superintend of the Federal Revenue (9th Region) Luiz Bernardi, and the Undersecretary of Customs and International Affairs, Ernani Checcucci.
The destruction of lighters held by the Brand Protection Group – BPG, was demonstrated in one of the event stands. Among 2011 and 2012, over 12 million lighters were destructed with BPG´s support.
