ServidOfficials from inspection and security agencies participated in training to identify counterfeit and contraband products during a workshop held in the auditorium of the Euvaldo Lodi Institute (IEL-RR) in Boa Vista. The training brought together more than 70 agents who work directly in inspection activities in the state.

Representatives from the Federal Revenue Service, Military Police, Civil Police, Federal Highway Police, Brazilian Intelligence Agency (Abin), Procon, Institute of Weights and Measures (Ipem), Municipal Guard, Post Office, and Department of Finance (Sefaz) participated. The action was promoted by the Brand Protection Group, in partnership with the Federal Revenue Service of Brazil.

According to the Revenue Service, during the training, agents received technical guidance and participated in practical activities focused on identifying counterfeit products in different segments, such as clothing, cosmetics, medicines, automotive parts, footwear, watches, handbags, and beverages.

The goal was to improve the performance of civil servants and strengthen the fight against illegal trade, which causes damage to the economy and public revenue, in addition to posing risks to consumers.
