Enforcement activities – Operation “Veritas” seizes 100,000 counterfeit products
On May 8th, 2025, a task force formed by the Federal Revenue, the Military Police, Procon-RJ and the Consumer Protection Department (SEDCON) seized more than 100,000 counterfeit products in the city of Rio de Janeiro.
The action, named by the public authorities as Operation “Veritas”, seized clothes, shoes, accessories and perfumes. The action was accompanied by representatives of BPG members.
We congratulate the authorities involved in this important action to combat the illegal market.
