Enforcement activities – Military Police seize vehicle and wine for smuggling in Realeza
On August 5, 2025, at around 12:15 p.m., while patrolling the Marmelândia line in the municipality of Realeza, the Military Police approached a silver GM/Kadett vehicle that was acting suspiciously.
During the inspection, 58 boxes containing 332 bottles of Argentine wine were found without the proper customs clearance, constituting the crime of smuggling.
The driver was arrested, and both the vehicle and the goods were seized and sent to the Federal Police in Santo Antônio do Sudoeste for legal proceedings.
