Enforcement activities – Inspection seizes R$ 500,000 in goods in warehouses in the Ponte da Amizade region
A joint operation by the Federal Revenue Service, Federal Police, and Border Police Battalion (BPFron) seized approximately R$ 500,000 in illegal foreign goods in Foz do Iguaçu on Friday morning (5). The operation took place in parking lots in the Vila Portes neighborhood, near the International Friendship Bridge.
Eighteen packages containing electronics, perfumes, and anesthetic tattoo ointments were confiscated. According to the Federal Revenue Service, in addition to customs violations, the products may pose a risk to public health.
