Customs seizes 50 ton of counterfeit products in Navegantes
Federal Revenue Services at Itajaí Port seized two containers with over 50 tons of counterfeit products of major trademarks, such as: Lacoste, Tomy Hilfiger, Dudalina, TAG Heuer, and others. The products, among them, shirts, mobile phones, pens, glasses, optical equipment and watches came from China. The fake declaration of content was detected by the Risk Analysis Team during merchandise identification proceedings. The cargo was described as umbrellas when really of umbrellas there were nothing. After all legal measures were taken, the products were sent to destruction.
