Couple arrested for selling counterfeit products and evading taxes in Monte Mor
A man and a woman, aged 42 and 41, were arrested for selling counterfeit products of various imported and national brands, as well as committing crimes such as patent infringement and tax evasion, in Monte Mor (SP). The arrests were made during an operation by the Americana Civil Police on Wednesday (15).
According to the police, shoes, shirts, caps, pants, sneakers, soccer cleats, electronic devices and documents were found and seized at the location.
The man had already been convicted of a property crime. The couple had their arrest in flagrante converted into pre-trial detention.
They were sent to the General Investigations Police Station (DIG) in Americana, where the case was registered.
