The Civil Police seized 7,200 lightbulbs suspected of counterfeiting during an operation to combat piracy in Sertãozinho (SP) on Tuesday (2).
The products were found in a store and in a distributor of automotive parts and accessories, where they were sold as original ones.
The store owner was heard and released. The Civil Police is looking for the person responsible for the distributor. By late Tuesday afternoon, no one was arrested.
