BPG holds event about trademarks counterfeiting at the Department of Border Operations in Dourados-MS
Around 60 public authorities of the Department of Border Operations attended, on August 14th, event promoted by the Brand Protection Group about trademarks counterfeiting. DOF is compound by public authorities that act specifically in border region smuggling repression.
The event held in the city of Dourados was comprised of lecturers about counterfeiting of trademarks owned by companies associated to BPG. During the presentation informative material to help in the identification of counterfeit products was distributed.
Besides helping in the identification of forgeries, the aim of the event is to establish a channel of communication among association and public authority, to technical, juridical and logistical cooperation concerning the retention and destination of seized goods.
