Against toy counterfeiting, police carry out Operation Chucky in São Paulo
With action in the region of 25 de Março, agents of Deic and the city hall inspect boxes specialized in this type of commerce.
This Wednesday (16) the Civil Police carried out the Operation Chucky, in combating the trade in counterfeit toys in São Paulo (SP).
Agents from DEIC (State Department of Criminal Investigations) centralized the action in a popular shopping mall on Rua Barão de Duprat, in the 25 de Março region, downtown São Paulo.
There, the 20 police officers participating in the operation inspected stalls specialized in this form of commerce.
Other employees of the São Paulo City Hall and of law firms that represent the brands also collaborate with the actions.
The seized materials will be sent for forensic examination.
