Military Police seizes 900 mobile phones and 400 wines on BR 277, in Cascavel
According to the police team, estimated loss exceeds BRL 2 million.
On this Monday (23) night, a large seizure was made by the Military Police of Cascavel.
The teams received reports that a truck had illicit products and would be approaching the city, at which time several sectors of the PM moved to BR-277 and held the approach in conjunction with agents of the PRF (Federal Highway Police).
Inside the truck were found about 900 mobile phones and 400 wines, all of foreign origin, without the proper documentation. Other electronic products were seized.
The 37-year-old truck driver was arrested. According to Military Police Lt. Joeckel, the amount of damage exceeds BRL 2 million.
The prisoner and the material remain in the custody of the Federal Police, and the goods are taken to the Internal Revenue Office.
