BPG organized International Seminar Against Counterfeitingr
Last September 10, the International Seminar – Integrated Action to Combat Counterfeiting, organized by the Brand Protection Group – BPG, was held, with the participation of the Embassies of Great Britain, France, the United States and Japan. The event had the institutional support and participation of the National Council to Combat Piracy – CNCP, the Coordination of Repression of the Federal Revenue of Brazil and the Directorate of the Federal Highway Police and was attended by distinguished speakers from different institutions of the Federal Government and other countries. , listed below: .CNCP / MJ, COREP / SRF, DIREP-SP / SRF, PRF / MJ, SEOPI / MJ; GSI / Presidency of the Republic; World Customs Organization – WCO and United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) of Panama; The Police Intellectual Property Crime Unit – PIPCU – City of London; British Intellectual Property Office – UK IPO; Intellectual Property Rights of the British Embassy in Brazil; Embassy of Japan Council in Brazil; Customs Office at the French Embassy in Brazil; Intellectual Property Council of the French INPI; US Immigration and Customs Enforcement – United States Embassy in Brazil; IP Law Enforcement – United States Consulate.
Several companies associated with BPG and 60 public authorities from different agencies participated in the event, which aimed to discuss the integration in actions to combat counterfeiting, both between public authorities in different countries, as well as between the public and private sector.
