BPG holds event about trademarks counterfeiting at the Federal Revenue of Foz do Iguaçu
Around 40 auditors and technicians of the Federal Revenue attended, on June 04th, event promoted by the Brand Protection Group – BPG at the Federal Revenue of Foz do Iguaçu about trademarks counterfeiting.
The event was comprised of breakfast with lecturers about counterfeiting of the trademarks owned by companies associated to BPG. During the presentation informative material to help in the identification of counterfeit products was distributed.
Besides helping in the identification of forgeries, the aim of the event is to establish a channel of communication among association and public authority, to technical, juridical and logistical cooperation concerning the retention and destination of seized goods.
The opening was held by the Customs Chief Inspector – Rafael Rodrigues Dolzan – who emphasized the importance of the participation of companies, trademarks holders, in the processes of seizure and destination of counterfeit products.
