The Federal Revenue seizes BRL 150,000 worth of Argentinean wines, anabolic steroids and medicines
The cargo of illegal products was intercepted in Olaria, Rio de Janeiro’s northern region.
Fourteen boxes with Argentinean wines and 13 packages containing anabolic steroids and prescription medicines were seized this Wednesday in an action carried out by the Federal Revenue, with the Division of Surveillance and Repression against Smuggling of the Federal Revenue Service in the 7th Fiscal Region (RJ/ES). The seizure value is BRL 150,000.
The products were intercepted in a cargo vehicle of a shipping company in Olaria, in the North Zone of Rio de Janeiro. In the description of the products, the wines had been declared as Brazilian handcrafted. No one was arrested.
