Participation in events held by the Ministry of Justice and CNCP in Brasilia

On December 1st, BPG participated in the Seminar “Combating Piracy and Digital Economy – The role of providers and methods of payment”, held at the Ministry of Justice. The event was organized by the Center for Monitoring Guides of Good Practices of the National Council for Combating Piracy – CNCP, in which BPG is a rapporteur together with ABTA. The Seminar had the objective of disseminating the guidebook on Good Practices in Methods of Payment and emphasizing the importance of adhesion by the companies in the sector, for the adoption of measures that prevent the use of their services for the sale of illegal products.

 

In the afternoon of the same day, the 5th and last ordinary meeting of the CNCP was held, in which the BPG presented the results of the work of the Commission and Center in which it participates. During the meeting, the award ceremony for the Highlights of the Year took place, with the Federal Highway Police Officers, Luis Antonio Gameleira Correa and Marco Antonio Palhano receiving the award; State Judge Thais Fortunato Bim and Federal Revenue Tax Auditor Mark Tollemach. The association was represented by its President, Wellington Oliveira and by its Institutional Relations Consultant, Luiz Claudio Garé.
