Man arrested for counterfeiting whisky inside home in Goiania
A man was arrested, in the capital of Goiânia, suspected of counterfeiting whiskey. In the residence where he was detained, were found dozens of empty bottles of imported alcoholic beverages and famous brands, and also other full bottles of national brands.
The man was arrested on Tuesday (7/3). According to the police, the house, used for counterfeiting the drinks, had only one table and some chairs.
According to information from the Police Department of Repression to Crimes Against the Consumer (Decon), the suspect transferred the content of the national bottles to imported whiskey bottles and sold the counterfeited product as if it was original in different points of the city.
