Load of whiskey and clothing smuggled from Uruguay is seized in Itapema , SC.
More than 1,700 liters of whiskey and 45,000 items of Uruguayan smuggled clothing were seized in the early afternoon of Wednesday (24) on BR-101, in Itapema, north coast of the state.
The load was in a Scania truck with plates from Novo Hamburgo, RS. Federal Highway agents and Federal Revenue agents suspected the invoice submitted, which discriminated a load of rice, and found the products by opening the trunk.
