Deic seizes about 8,900 counterfeit items in the city of São Paulo

The Civil Police, through the 1st Police Station for Investigations on Immaterial Property (DIG), of the State Department of Criminal Investigations (Deic), on Monday (26), seized about 8,900 counterfeit items in the city of São Paulo.

The inquiries took place at five different addresses located in the central region of the city of São Paulo.
The field actions are the result of structured investigations to combat the manufacture and commercialization of illegal products.

The work resulted in the seizure of six rolls of fabric, 280 accessories for mobile phones, 7,200 pieces of clothing and labels, in addition to 1,410 toys.
