Meeting the Federal Revenue Services Secretary in Brasília
BPG, as well as other associates of FNCP, entity responsible for the meeting, was welcomed by the New Federal Revenue Services Secretary, Mr. Jorge Rachid and his team. At the occasion, BPG was represented by its President, Mr. Newton Vieira Júnior.
Several subjects were approached during the meeting, from them we can highlight: the progress made with the creation of the CERAD and the National Directory to Combat Trademark Countefeit, and all challenges to improve the protection of Brazil´s Legal Market, anti money laudering and online payment methods.
The Secretary and his team showed great interest on the topics and approaches presented and confirmed they will evaluate the proposals.
Jorge Rachid was assigned on January 9 to the position of Federal Revenue Services Secretary, this is his second time at the job, considering he had previously led the agency from 2003 to 2008.
