Police destroy 40 tons of counterfeit material
Last August 27th BPG participated in the ceremony of destroying 40 tons of counterfeit material that took place in Police City, in Rio de Janeiro, with the presence of Governor Wilson Witzel. The event was organized by Dr. Maurício Demétrio, Chief Delegate of the Police Station for the Suppression of Crimes against Intellectual Property – DRCPIM-RJ, as a mark of the beginning of the law recently sanctioned by the Governor, which determines the destruction of counterfeit products seized by the Police within 60 days.
