BPG holds event about trademarks counterfeiting in the Airport of Rio
Around 70 auditors and technicians of the Rio de Janeiro Federal Revenue (Airport and DIREP) attended, on April 17th, the event promoted by the Brand Protection Group – BPG in the Airport of Rio de Janeiro about trademarks counterfeiting.
The event was comprised of breakfast with lecturers about counterfeiting of the trademarks owned by companies associated to BPG. During the presentation informative material to help in the identification of counterfeit products was distributed.
Besides helping in the identification of forgeries, the aim of the event is to establish a channel of communication among association and public authority, to technical, juridical and logistical cooperation concerning the retention and destination of seized goods.
The opening was held by the Customs Chief of Customs Brokerage Service – Adriana V. B. de Oliveira – who emphasized the importance of the participation of the companies, trademarks owners, in the processes of seizure and destination of counterfeit products.
